Wolf Spider

I snapped this humongous wolf spider, 3- 3 1/2 inches across (with hundreds of babies on her back) that took up residence right outside our back door. There is no no creative editing here - she looked even more creepy and disgusting in person than in the photo.

July Pig Roast

These are a few Shots of Greenbrier's July Pig Roast. It was small, The band not a lot too it, but the kids had fun. The only down side to it was the music. I understand that they had to keep it mellow because kids and seniors were present, but come on now! As many good musicians live in the Metro Nashville area you'd think they would hire a band that could carry a tune - especially a country band.

Look at all these little redneck kids at the car bash. Oh my - these are MY kids! How the mighty have fallen.....

Don't You Dare Pet That Cat!

Famous last words -- "Just ignore it, it will go away". It's kind of hard to ignore something that's mewling and clawing her way up our screen door. I guess She's ours now.

My Garden

It's was touch and go for a bit but things are finally starting to green up.

First Tomato (near the bottom right)

The summer squash barely survived Sheba rtying to eat it. I can't blame that one on the grasshoppers!

The Corn is finally coming along too, but I do need to get off my rump and thin it out.
